  • Provides a Blueprint, Agenda and Tools for better Outcomes for Governments

A combination of workshops, presentations and facilitated forums, from participants across government, across Canada, sprinkled with lunchtime discussions from the likes of Stephen Lewis on Canada's leadership in the battle against AIDS will ensure that there is learning and stimulation from participants at all levels.

Skip Lumley is the originator of government's public sector reference models. The GSRM ("Governments of Canada Strategic Reference Model") as being developed in the BTEP (Business Transformation Enablement Program) in Treasury Board Secretariat.

All of the standard public sector reference models ("MRM", "PSRM", and "GSRM") use a common formal "service concept". This concept is equally applicable to public services or ICT services. The GSRM in particular provides a set of standard service patterns that can be leveraged and rapidly customized to any public sector initiative to describe and analyze both business and ICT services.

Whether you are a program manager, a business solutions person, an architect, a senior business analyst or project manager, these methods will resonate for you and help bridge the ever traditional gap between IT and business models for your organization.
