The Chop Houses have National Gin Day covered with their bespoke menu of aptly named ‘Blooming British’ cocktails. As part of D&D’s Blossom City, the cocktails have been curated in partnership with Williams Gin, and include seasonal delights such as the Summer Garden (Williams pink grapefruit gin, lavender, lemon & soda), the Honey Bee (Williams GB gin, Kamm & Sons, honey & lemon) and the Columbia Road (Williams GB gin, Chase elderflower liqueur, rose, lime & cucumber). Tom’s Kitchen and Fever-Tree to offer series of refreshing gin and tonics this summer

This summer, Tom’s Kitchen have partnered with the premium British tonic brand, Fever-Tree, to create a bespoke list of refreshing gin and tonics, perfect for the warmer months. Guests will be able to enjoy classic flavours such as Hendrick’s Gin with Fever-Tree Elderflower garnished with cucumber ribbons (£10.50), as well as more unusual combinations including Bombay Sapphire with Fever-Tree Mediterranean, thyme and lemon (£9.50), and Bloom Gin with Fever-Tree Elderflower, strawberry and cracked black pepper (£11.50). Bottomless G&T brunch at Skylon

Float like a Peach at The Blind Pig

At Jason Atherton’s flagship bar, The Blind Pig, guests can explore a menu of creative serves from the ‘Long and Short Great British Tails’ menu. Each element, from the name of the cocktail to the individual ingredients, is linked to a classic piece of British literature. Dedicated to Roald Dahl’s beloved James and the Giant Peach, Float like a Peach blends Tanqueray 10 gin with Rinquinquin peach wine, hibiscus, olive oil and egg white and is topped with sparkling poire. Served in a flute, the cocktail also features a tribute to James’s sidekick, Earthworm, with a garnish of a jelly worm sweet, offering a nostalgic Gin Day tipple.

Flower Hour at Aster

As part of the group-wide D&D London #BlossomCity campaign, newly-opened restaurant Aster in Victoria will be offering a special ‘Flower Hour’ menu, featuring a selection of unique floral cocktails. To celebrate World Gin Day guests can opt for the complex Elderflower Mint & Matcha tipple featuring gin and limoncello mixed with elderflower syrup and matcha tea syrup, apple juice, cucumber and mint or a light and floral Rose Soda, which combines rosebud-infused gin and rose petal syrup with lime juice, egg white and soda water. Available for £6.50 during Flower Hour, each cocktail offers a unique toast to World Gin Day.
