Catherine Smith, Vice President, Marketing and Human Resources. Catherine is sometimes referred to as the 'mother of Chartwell'. For those of you who have met Catherine you realize this attribution acknowledges her leadership and warmth within the Chartwell community - many of our team turn to Catherine for guidance. For Catherine, business is primarily about people and relationships and a natural extension of her pleasant engaging and people focused personality. She represents the Chartwell face to the market and is actively involved in leading the development of our corporate website, marketing collateral and speaking engagements.

Catherine, also the chief administrator of Chartwell's training programs has worked hand in hand with Intervista Institute and Nexient Learning; to bring about Chartwell’s eminent Enterprise Business Architecture Courses and workshops. As lead of Chartwell's training program, she has worked effectively with Nexient Learning, Canada's largest corporate training provider in establishing and marketing an effective series of business architecture course offerings throughout the Province of Ontario. Catherine has an instinct for 'win-win' scenarios and is actively involved in establishing alliances and relationships to further both Chartwell's cause and that of our partners.

Catherine is definitely 'one-of-a-kind', and we are very happy at Chartwell to have her leading and supporting us. Outside of work, Catherine is an avid gourmet. She is interested in writing a book on cooking, to provide helpful hints to budding chefs and to stir up food passions in the kitchen.
